How We Work With Healthcare Providers to Support Gender-Affirming Care

When we started New York Toy Collective in 2012, gender-affirming products were often hard to find—and rarely designed with real trans and nonbinary experiences in mind. Over time, healthcare providers have recognized the importance of safe, high-quality products as part of gender-affirming care. We’re proud to be part of that shift.

NYTC works with VA hospitals, clinics, and community healthcare providers to supply products that meet both medical and personal needs. These collaborations aren’t just about stocking shelves—they’re about education and access. We provide kits, resources, and expert support so that healthcare providers can confidently recommend products that work.

Our partnerships are built on trust. We listen to both providers and patients, constantly refining our designs to ensure they’re safe, comfortable, and affirming. Our goal isn’t just to make products—it’s to support the entire care ecosystem for trans and nonbinary communities.

Gender-affirming care saves lives. At NYTC, we’re proud to do our part to make sure everyone has access to tools that help them feel seen, supported, and at home in their bodies.
